In the original NSMBDS, if you touch the Mega Mushroom at _just_ thr right time under a block, it'll enter your storage. This is used for unintended storage. I think Boat keeps shrinking because perhaps the devs for this game took this mechanic and increased (or rather, decreased) the size for Mega Mario to activate. TL;DR I think you keep getting the Mega Mushroom too close to the ceiling.

Huh. I'm used to these types of videos being set up in a certain way. You have the intro that shows how wild things get, then you have the voice over come in and explain what's being shown, then you see it from the beginning. I'm genuinely not sure what "forgotten game" this is, since you never took the time to describe it. And so I never got the context to be able to appreciate what's going on. I tried jumping ahead to the part where you explained it, but I didn't find it.
